Triumph Motorcycles has launched the all-new Tiger 800 XCa Adventure motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market. It is the range-topping variant and joins the existing Tiger range that includes 800 XR, 800 XRx, 800 XC and the 800 XCx. The new Triumph Tiger 800 XCA is priced at Rs. 13.75 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

The new Triumph Tiger 800 XCA is equipped with advanced Rider focused technologies such as Advanced ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), Traction Control, Throttle Maps, 3 Riding Modes, Cruise Control, Advanced Trip Control and AUX Socket. The advanced ABS system can be changed between ROAD, OFF-ROAD and OFF. Similarly, the rider can configure the traction control to 3 Rider mode settings- ROAD, OFF-ROAD and OFF.

The Adventure Sport offers 4 different throttle maps, which can be easily changed between RAIN, ROAD, SPORT, or OFF-ROAD via the switch cube. The Triumph Tiger 800 XCa is equipped with a 650W alternator that powers the heated rider and pillion seats, heated grips and LED fog lamps. This system can also be used to power other auxiliary devices such as a GPS system or heated clothing.

Powering the Tiger XCa is a liquid-cooled, 800cc in-line three-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 94bhp of power and 79Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle has derived the shifter mechanism from the Daytona, which gives the motorcycle faster shifts.
