General Motors India today launched the Chevrolet Beat and Sail hatchback Manchester United Limited Editions in the Indian car market. Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the limited editions will cost Rs. 69,000 more than the standard models. The company launched these models to celebrate the Chevrolet brand’s debut on Manchester United’s home shirt.
“We are proud to announce the launch of the Chevrolet Beat and SAIL Hatchback Manchester United Editions for football fans in India. Available in limited quantity, the models celebrate Chevrolet’s Shirt Sponsorship with Manchester United beginning today,” said Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, GM India.
“The two models showcased at the recent 2014 Indian Auto Expo have been designed by our engineers at the General Motors Technical Center India (GMTC-I) in Bangalore on popular customer demand with exclusive Manchester United livery kits. These specially designed models will cost only Rs 69,000 over the original versions,” Mr. Saxena added.
The limited editions cars sales begin today and are based on the LS variant in both petrol and diesel fuel options. The exclusive models are available in popular Super Red colour and sport Manchester United Decals, Alloy Wheels, Special Seat Covers, Music System, Illuminated Sill Plates, OSRVM’s with Blinkers, Roof Rails and exclusive branding. The Chevrolet Beat and Sail Hatchback Manchester United editions will conclude the multi-city tour called ‘Chevrolet Fast Moves’ on July 8 in India.
