One must note that there is no official word about the Burgman launch details.
Suzuki Motorcycle India is doing final launch preparation for the Burgman Street 125cc scooter. As per a latest report, the scooter will go on sale next month (i.e. July, 2018). However, there is no official word from the two-wheeler maker. Previewed at the 2018 Auto Expo, the Suzuki Burgman will be the company’s flagship scooter and placed above the Access 125.
The Burgman Street will be India’s first maxi-scooter. As far as the pricing is concerned, Suzuki’s new 125cc scooter is estimated to be around Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 pricier than the Access 125 SE that costs Rs 60,580 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Read: Suzuki Burgman Scooter – 5 Interesting Facts

The bikemaker hasn’t yet revealed its engine specifications. Though, it is likely to share its poweretain with the Access 125 – i.e. 124.3cc, air-cooled unit. The power and torque outputs of the motor stand at 8.6bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm respectively. The new scooter will use the telescopic fork and monoshock suspension units for the damping duties. For brakes, the Burgman gets disc and drum unit at the front and rear axles respectively. Upfront, the Suzuki Burgman features a large apron and windscreen giving it a unique look. Interestingly, it will be India’s first scooter to an all-digital instrument console borrowed from the Suzuki Gixxer. Features such as an LED tail-lamp, a multi-function key slot, a 12V charging socket and generous underseat storage are also on offer.
