India-bound New Renault Duster Showcased At Geneva
New-generation Renault Duster might hit Indian roads during 2019 festive season.
The new-generation Renault Duster has been previewed at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS). The SUV’s new model had its European debut last year under the Dacia brand. Recently, the new Renault Duster 2019 has been caught on camera during its test rounds on Indian roads. It’s likely to hit our shores during 2019 festive season.
The new Renault Duster 2019 will witness comprehensive aesthetic and feature changes along with upgraded BS6-ready 110bhp, 1.5L K9K diesel and 1.5L petrol engines. The carmaker might discontinue the 85bhp, 1.5L motor from the SUV carline. Transmission options will include manual, AMT (diesel only) and CVT unit (petrol only).

Compared to the existing model, the new Renault Duster 2019 will sit higher. Other key updates include a new front grille, revised bumpers, new headlamps with LED DRLs, new bonnet and roof rails. The SUV’s new model will be based on a slightly modified version of the MO platform ensuring its structural integrity. Material, fit and finish quality will also be improved. It will also get a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Features such as 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, advanced MediaNav, automatic climate control and steering mounted controls will also be on offer. The new Renault Duster 2019 will also meet the new crash test norms and pedestrian safety standards.
