Kia Stinger GTS comes with a newly developed all-wheel drive system for spirited driving.

Korean automaker, Kia has officially unveiled the 2020 Kia Stinger GTS at the 2019 New York International Auto Show. Limited to just 800 units, the special edition Kia Stinger GTS comes with a newly developed all-wheel drive system for spirited driving. The performance sport sedan gets carbon fibre parts and a splashy new colour.

Mechanical limited slip rear differential is added to the D-AWD system, which is designed to enhance traction and distribute power more evenly between the rear wheels when slip is detected. It comes with multiple drive mode select that amplifies rear-biased dynamics. The driving modes include comfort mode, sport mode and drift mode. The Kia Stinger GTS has new control logic with slip control and counter steer detection, transmission shift pattern and stability control. Available in either D-AWD or RWD, the Stinger GTS is powered by a 3.3-litre V6 twin turbo engine that produces 365bhp of power and 510Nm of torque. In terms of exterior enhancement, the Kia Stinger GTS gets exclusive “Federation” premium orange paint color, genuine carbon fibre parts that outline the signature tiger nose grille, side mirror caps and side vents, new GTS rear emblem, and center Stinger emblem on the trunk lid. Inside the cabin, the Kia Stinger GTS adds more premium materials befitting of a true driver’s car. It gets Alcantara upholstery for steering wheel and centre console and headliner blanketed in premium suede-line Chamude. Feature list include electric sunroof, 720-watt Harman/Kardon premium audio system with QuantumLogic and Clari-Fi signal enhancing technology and wireless charger for compatible smartphones.
