Heavily Modified Force Gurkha Showcased At Auto Expo 2020
Force Motors has showcased the updated Gurkha BS6 alongside the heavily modified Gurkha at the ongoing Auto Expo 2020. While the former is likely to see a release in April, the latter one is just for the display purpose. Painted in military green shade, the modified Force Gurkha comes with several off-roading accessories that make it look more rugged.
Upfront, the customized Force Gurkha carries a massive bull guard with black cladding all around the headlamps, fog lamps and grille. The high ground clearance and mud terrain large 40/13.5 R17 deep-treaded tyres with red highlight add more to its muscular looks. The windshields and windows have metal surrounding ensuring extra safety.
Features such as heavy duty winch, extender fenders and snorkel further enhance its off-road capabilities. The modified Force Gurkha has four auxiliary lights fitted on the roof. The vehicle also gets roof rails and tow hook at the rear.
Powering the modified Force Gurkha is the same BS6-complian 2.6L diesel engine that does duty in the SUV’s updated model. The oil burner pushes out a peak power of 90bhp and over 200Nm of torque. For performing transmission duties, the off-roader gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The 2020 Force Gurkha has received comprehensive changes inside and out. The SUV not only has more comfort goodies to offer, but it’s safer than before as well. With the BS6 upgrade, the power figure has been increased by 5bhp.
