The updated Gurkha has retained the upright stance and retro design. Though, there are several new styling bits that make it look more refreshing. The off-road gets a new front grille, revised front and rear bumpers and new light clusters at both ends. The wheel arches and cladding look more pronounced. The BS6 Force Gurkha runs on 16-inch alloy wheels fitted with 245/70 tubeless tyres.
Major changes have been made inside the cabin. The BS6 Force Gurkha gets a newly-designed dashboard, a new centre console with integrated touchscreen infotainment system, revised instrument cluster and new control surfaces for the air con system. The digital MID unit is now placed between the speedometer and tachometer.
The SUV offers four forward facing seats with two individual seats in the second row. The 2020 Force Gurkha also comes equipped with LED headlamps with DRLs, power windows, dual airbags, rear parking sensors and ABS.
The 2020 Force Gurkha sources its power from the same 2.6L diesel engine, which has been upgraded to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The new motor, with a 5-speed manual gearbox, returns a claimed power of 90bhp. This means, the updated engine is around 5bhp more powerful than its BS4 version. The SUV continues to come with the 4WD (four-wheel-drive) system.
