Fiat will launch the Avventura crossover in the Indian car market by the end of this year. Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the Avventura crossover is based on the Punto hatchback. The production version of the Fiat Avventura crossover with any camouflage has been spied. The image looks quite identical to the concept showcased at the Auto Expo.

The production version of the Fiat Avventura features normal bulbs instead of LED foglamps/daytime running lamps found on the concept. The sweptback headlamps get projector lights and look slightly different. It also gets radio antenna on the roof which was missing on the concept model.

The Fiat Avventura crossover is likely to share most of its styling cues with the concept showcased at the show. The vehicle gets a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, extra body cladding, protective skid plates, protective skid plates, large alloys, high ground clearance, roof rails and others.

The crossover will be offered in both petrol and diesel options. While the petrol version of the Avventura crossover will get the 1.4-litre FIRE petrol engine that produces 90bhp and 115Nm of top torque, the oil burner is likely to get 1.3-litre multi-jet engine that is capable of developing 92bhp and 209Nm of torque. Both the engines are likely to be paired with either six-speed or five-speed manual transmission which sends the power to front wheels.
