All-new Nissan Pulsar hatchback revealed

Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has revealed the all-new Pulsar which will go on sale in the European market. The vehicle takes its design cues with the Qashqai and X-Trail SUVs. The new Pulsar hatchback is equipped with a range of accessible and high end technologies to make drivers feel more comfortable. This hatchback gets the trademark Nissan V-motion grille and boomerang-shaped lighting signature with bold and energetic curves on the body side.

The all-new Nissan Pulsar comes equipped with driver assistance system such as forward emergency braking, moving object detection, lane departure warning and blind spot warning. It also features Nissan’s second generation NissanConnect system- that comes with a range of innovative features including full smartphone integration, Google Send-to-Car and access to a wide variety of useful and innovative apps.

New Nissan Pulsar boot space

The new Nissan Pulsar is 4,385mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,700mm. With 692mm of rear kneeroom, this hatchback is more spacious than its contemporaries. Under the hood, the new Pulsar hatchback gets a 1.2-litre DIG-T petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 112bhp. There is a more powerful 1.6-litre engine producing 187bhp, while the oil burner gets 1.5-litre dCi engine that produces 108bhp. All these engines are coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox, while an optional CVT will also be on offer.
