List of Car Manufacturers Attending the Upcoming Auto Expo 2020

In the middle of unprecedented slowdown, automakers have started preparing for the next year’s Auto Expo event. The biennial event will witness the unveilings of several new products from the already established as well as new automakers. However, few brands including BMW, Audi and Bajaj Auto have decided to give the 2020 Auto Expo a miss. Here is the list of automakers with possible new unveilings at the Auto Expo 2020 –

Hyundai – The Korean automaker will unveil the next generation Creta and Elite i20 hatchback at the 2020 Auto Expo. The new models will come with all-new design, new interior and new BSVI compliant petrol and diesel engines.

Maruti Suzuki – India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki is expected to showcase an all-new premium SUV and the new-gen Gypsy SUV (Jimny) at the Auto Expo 2020. Apart from these 2 products, Maruti will also showcase the limited edition variants of the existing models.

Honda – Japanese brand will unveil the long-awaited new-gen City sedan, which is scheduled to be launched in the country in early 2020. Adding to it, the company could unveil the new Jazz and the HR-V SUV.

Tata Motors – The homegrown automaker is readying a vast range of new models, which will be showcased at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo. The company will showcase the production version of the H2X mini SUV, Buzzard 7-seater SUV and electric version of the Nexon compact SUV.

Kia Motors – The Korean giant will showcase the Carnival 7-seater premium MPV and an all-new compact SUV in the concept form.

MG Motors – The company is planning to showcase the 7-seater version of the Hector and an all-new mid-sized SUV (Hyundai Creta rival) at the 2020 Auto Expo.

Skoda and Volkswagen – Volkswagen Group is readying at least 4 new models under India Plan 2.0. The company will showcase the Skoda Kamiq and the Volkswagen T-Cross SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo. Adding to it, the Group could also showcase the Karoq, Tiguan 7-seater and others.

Mahindra – The utility vehicle maker will showcase the next generation Thar, Scorpio and the XUV500 at the Auto Expo 2020. The company will also unveil the electric version of the XUV300 compact SUV.
