2020 Suzuki Gixxer BS6 Price

Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced prices of the BS6-compliant Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 motorcycles. While the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 naked bike has been priced at Rs 1,63,400, the fully faired 2020 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 costs Rs 1,74,000. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition painted in Metallic Triton Blue Iivery can be had by paying a sum of Rs 1,74,900. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

Compared to the previous versions, the naked bike and its full faired sibling witnessed a price hike of around Rs 3,400 and Rs 3,000 respectively. One must note that the deliveries of the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer range will be commenced by mid June. The company re-opened over 50% dealerships across the nation and resumed operations at its Haryana based plant. In order to ensure safety of employees and customers, the bikemaker has adopted new safety guidelines and measures.

BS6 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Price

The 2020 Suzuki Gixxer 250 BS6 range is claimed deliver better performance and lesser emission. Powering the updated models is the BS6-compliant version of the 249cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke SOHC engine. The power and torque outputs of the updated engine stand at 26.5PS at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm respectively. For performing transmission duties, the motorcycles have a 6-speed manual gearbox offering “a smooth ride even at low to middle range speed”.

BS6 Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP Edition

Visually, the 2020 Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 looks similar to their old models. While the former has large tank shrouds and tall and wide handlebars, the latter features a windshield, a full fairing and low-set handlebars. Some of key features include LED headlamp, chrome-tipped dual-port muffler, a fully digital instrument console and split seats.

Both motorcycles run on 17-inch wheels with 110/70R front and 150/60R rear tyres. The updated Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 are equipped with the same telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension setup. Stopping power comes from front and rear disc brakes along with the dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
