BS6 Maruti Ertiga CNG Launched; Delivers 26.08km/kg Mileage
Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out the BS6-compliant CNG version of its highly popular Ertiga MPV in the country. The upgrade makes it India’s first BS6-compliant CNG MPV. The carmaker claims that the BS6 Maruti Ertiga S-CNG delivers a claimed mileage of 26.08km/kg. The updated model comes with the dual interdependent ECUs (electronic control units) and intelligent injection system. The Maruti Ertiga BS6 CNG comes equipped with all goodies that are offered on the VXi trim including body coloured door handles and outside rear view mirrors, 15-inch steel wheels with caps, turn indicators in the wing mirrors, electronically adjustable and folding wing mirrors, day/night inside rear view mirror, second row centre arm rest, rear AC vents, remote keyless entry, 12V charging port in the first and second row, steering-mounted audio and telephony controls and four speaker audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity.
In July 2019, the carmaker had introduced the two CNG variants of the Ertiga MPV. While the Ertiga CNG is now available at Rs 8.95 lakh, the Tour M CNG trim costs Rs 8.83 lakh (all, ex-showroom). At present, the Maruti Ertiga petrol comes in the price range of Rs 7.59 lakh – Rs 10.13 lakh. The diesel variants, on the other hand, are priced from Rs 9.86 lakh to Rs 11.20 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
