BMW India has silently added two new 330i petrol variants – Sport Line and M Sport – to its popular 3-Series lineup. While the 2017 BMW 330i Sport Line is being offered at Rs 42.4 lakh, the 330i M Sport version comes with a price tag of Rs 44.9 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi). Save for the subtle updates, the exterior design and features list have been carried over from the regular model.
Power source for the new 2017 BMW 330i petrol variants is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder with TwinPower turbocharged engine paired to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. This motor makes a peak power output of 245bhp at 5,200rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1,450rpm – 4,800rpm. Similar to the 328i variant, the new petrol Sport version comes with rear-wheel drivetrain (RWD) system. The car offers four driving modes – Comfort, ECOPRO, Sport and Sport Plus. Feature-wise, the new 330i Sports models are equally loaded as the standard 320d variant. The 2017 BMW 3-Series 330i Sport Line, additionally, gets a rear parking camera. Though, the 320d Sport Line version misses out on it. Other key highlights include an 8.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers and electrical adjustment and AC vents for the rear passengers.
For safety provision, the car gets six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and ISOFIX mounts for child seats. On the exterior, the new 330i variants continue to feature the LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED fog lamps and LED turn indicators. The 2017 BMW 330i Sport Line comes in a choice of three colour schemes – Alpine White, Black Sapphire and Mediterranean Blue. On the hand, the 330i M Sport is made available only two shades – Alpine White and Black Sapphire.
