TVS Motor Company has recently introduced the updated Scooty Zest in the Indian market. Interestingly, the company has recently released a teaser image of a new scooter. There is no details of the scooter are available. However, the scooter could source features from the new Scooty Zest. It is expected to get LED daytime running lamps, USB charging port, textured floorboard and a stainless steel guard for the exhaust. The scooter is likely to come in various colour options including dual-tone paint shades. Talking about the engine specifications, the scooter is powered by a 109.9cc, four-stroke engine that also powers the Scooty Zest. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 8bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a CVT automatic gearbox. The Scooty Zest is one of the most fuel efficient scooters currently on sale in India. It is claimed to have an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 62kmpl. The scooter is likely to get telescopic front suspension and 10-inch anti-skid tyres. The outgoing Scooty is priced at Rs 46,538 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
