Bentley Bentayga Speed – World’s Fastest SUV Delivers Top Speed of 306kmph!
The Bentley Bentayga Speed is 27bhp more powerful than the regular Bentayga SUV.
Bentley Bentayga Speed, the world’s fastest production SUV, is ready to make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, 2019. Designed and developed in Great Britain, the SUV is power-packed with a twin-turbocharged 6.0L W12 engine churning out a whopping 635bhp against 900Nm of torque.
The Bentayga Speed SUV is claimed to deliver a top speed of 306kmph, which is just 1kmph higher than Lamborghini Urus. Though, the latter is quicker than the former that can do 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds. The Urus takes 3.6 seconds to achieve 100kmph from standstill. The Bentley Bentayga Speed is around 27bhp more powerful than the regular Bentayga SUV.

For performing drivetrain duties, the SUV has AWD (all-wheel-drive) Speed with electronic differential lock and 8 drive dynamics modes. The Sport mode offers “a more dynamic drive, while a greater exhaust character and firmer suspension tune further increase driver engagement”. Aiming to match its high performance levels, Bentley has made some practical changes t its exterior including tinted headlamps, dark-tint radiator grille and bumper, a pronounced tailgate spoiler, body-coloured side skirts and 22-inch alloy wheels available in three finishes with Speed signature badging. Significant changes have also been made inside the cabin. The Bentley Bentayga Speed gets an illuminated ‘Speed’ treadplate, new contrast stitching on the diamond quilting, Speed badging and alcantara upholstery. Features such as carbon-ceramic brakes, mood lighting and 22-way adjustable front seats are optional offerings.
