DSK Benelli TNT 25 is the company’s most affordable, and first single-cylinder offering in the country. This naked street-fighter is priced at Rs. 1.68 lakh for the standard variant and Rs. 1.75 lakh for the premium variant (ex-showroom, Delhi).

DSK Benelli TNT 25 has been introduced in the Indian market at Rs. 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Besides this, the Italian bikemaker has also launched a new accessories range including stickers, helmets and CNC personal customization parts. The Benelli TNT 25 is the company’s most affordable, and first single-cylinder offering in the country.

Unveiled at the 2015 EICMA Show in Milan, this naked street-fighter is now available in two variants – standard (with MRF REVZ tyres) and premium (with Metzeler tyre) – priced at Rs. 1.68 lakh and Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. At this price, the Benelli TNT 25 competes against the KTM Duke 200, Honda CBR 250R and Mahindra Mojo. This naked motorcycle is being imported to India via CKD (Completely Knocked Down kit) route, and then assembled at DSK Motowheels’ Pune-based plant.

The DSK Benelli TNT 25 comes powered by a 249cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 28.16bhp of power at 9,800rpm and 21.61Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. Paired to a 6-speed transmission, this engine is capable to hit a top-speed of 145kmpl. The bike derives its braking power from a four-piston calipers mounted over a 280mm single disc upfront and a twin-port 240mm single disc rear brakes. It’s also equipped with inverted telescopic fork upfront and a monoshock rear suspension.

The Benelli TNT 25 draws its design inspiration from the TNT 300, which was showcased at 2015 India Bike Week. The bike looks bold and sporty with elements like sculpted tank, split seat, multi-spoke alloy wheels and side slung exhaust. It also gets a digital instrument cluster that accommodates analogue tachometer. The flat handle bars and rear-seat footpegs offer comfortable riding posture. The Benelli TNT 25 is offered in two color options – Rosso and Bianco.

While the standard variant comes equipped with MRF Rev C tyres, the premium model gets Metzeler tyres. Though, both the variants shod with 110/70 – 17 front and 150/60 – 17 rear tyres. Coming to dimensions, the Benelli TNT 25 measures 2,080mm in length, 810mm in width and 1,125mm height, and has a wheelbase of 1,400mm. The ground clearance stands at160mm. The bike carries a kerb weight of 159kgs, and offers a fuel tank capacity of 17-litre.
