All New Upcoming Maruti Cars, SUVs By 2025

Maruti Suzuki is getting aggressive with its product strategy for the Indian market. Seeing the rising demand for SUVs, MSIL is planning to launch a wide range of new SUVs in the country over the period of next 2-3 years. In 2022, MSIL had introduced multiple cars including the new Baleno, new Brezza, Alto K10, updated XL6 and the Grand Vitara mid-sized SUV. In this article, we will talk about the upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars and SUVs to be launched in our market by 2025. 

Fronx

Maruti Fronx Prices

Maruti Suzuki had showcased the Fronx crossover at the 2023 Auto Expo. It is essentially the crossover version of the Baleno hatchback. Interested buyers can book the new Maruti Fronx crossover online or at authorised dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. The new model is expected to be launched by March 2023. It will be offered in 5 trims – Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. It will be offered with two engine options – a 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and a 90bhp, 1.2L Dualjet NA petrol. Read More..

Jimny 5-door

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 4x4

Maruti Suzuki will launch the Jimny 5-door lifestyle SUV by May 2023. It can be booked online or at NEXA dealership by paying Rs 25,000. The new Jimny 5-door model will be offered in two trim levels – Zeta and Alpha. It will be powered by a 103bhp, 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with idle start/stop system. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic. It comes with Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system with a manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox with 2WD high, 4WD high and 4WD-low modes. More details…

Maruti Suzuki will launch an all-new premium MPV based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. The Maruti’s version will come with some India-specific changes including a new front grille and revised rear profile. It will be the first Maruti Suzuki to offer an advanced driver assistance system. The new model will be offered with two engine options – a 2.0L naturally-aspirated petrol and a 2.0L petrol with a strong hybrid tech. The new model is expected to be launched by the end of this year.

Maruti Suzuki is working on the next-gen Swift and the Dzire sub-4 meter sedan for the Indian market. The new models will be based on the heavily modified HEARTECT platform that underpins the Baleno hatchback. Both models will receive design changes and upgraded interior along with better quality body panels and fit & finish. The new models will be offered with a new 1.2L petrol with a strong hybrid tech. If reports are to be believed, both models will offer a fuel efficiency of over 35kmpl. The regular versions will be offered with a 1.2L NA petrol engine. 

EVX electric SUV

Maruti Suzuki had showcased the EVX electric SUV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. The company has confirmed that the production version of the SUV will arrive in our market by 2025. Based on the bord EV platform, the Maruti eVX based SUV will be manufactured at the carmaker’s Gujarat-based facility. The concept measures 4.3 meters in length and has a 2700mm long wheelbase. It was fitted with a 60kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 550km. 

7-Seater SUV

Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on a new 7-seater SUV to rival the likes of the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari and others. The new model is likely to be based on the Suzuki’s Global-C platform that underpins the Grand Vitara. Not just platform, the SUV will share most of its design elements and components with its donor sibling.
