All-New 2020 Hyundai i20 Exterior, Interior Detailed in a Video

Korean automaker, Hyundai has already launched 2 new cars – the new-gen Creta and the 2020 Verna facelfit. The company has now unveiled the new-gen Hyundai i20 hatchback, which will be launched in the Indian market in the second half of 2020 – before Diwali. Here is a first look video of the new 2020 Hyundai i20 hatchback, which gives detail about the exterior and interior.

Talking about the styling, the 2020 Hyundai i20 features the brand’s new design language which we have already seen on the new Creta. It is equipped with single piece cascading grille, new LED headlamps and triangular-shaped air-dams. Sharp creases and curves can be seen all around the body. On sides, the hatchback gets new window line, a contrasting roof and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the back, the hatchback gets connected LED tail-lamps with Z-shaped LED inserts, new tail-gate mounted spoiler, fake rear diffuser and dual-tone bumper.

Dimensionally, the new i20 is 5mm longer and 30mm wider, and the height has been reduced by 24mm. The wheelbase has been raised by 10mm, which should improve the legroom space for the rear occupants. It comes with a boot space of 351-litres, which is around 25-litres more than the outgoing model.

Inside the cabin, the 2020 Hyundai i20 gets clutter-free cabin and single air-con vent unit. It sports a large digital instrument console and a 10.25-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the Blue Link connected car technology. Feature list includes ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charger, keyless entry, push button start and a Bose premium audio system.

The 2020 Hyundai i20 will be offered with 3 engine options – a 99bhp, 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol, a 83bhp, 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and a 99bhp, 1.5-litre diesel. Both manual and automatic versions will be on offer.
