5 New SUVs, Bikes Coming Next Week – Details Here

The coming weeks will surely be exciting as several new four-wheelers and two-wheelers launches have been planned for the festive season that will begin with Navratri on October 7 2021. We will witness at least five new product launches in the first week of the month including 3 SUVs, one scooter and a bike. Here’s a brief on the upcoming new models.

Tata Punch – 4th

Tata Punch Micro SUV

Tata Punch is certainly one of the important car launches of this year. The automaker will unveil the mini SUV on 4th October and its launch will happen in the next couple of weeks. According to leaked information, the micro SUV will come in 12 variants, 4 trims (Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative) and 6 colour options. It will be the smallest Tata SUV; however, its boot space will be bigger than the Altroz (366-litres). Under the hood, the Punch will house a 1.2L Revotron petrol engine generating 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options will include 5-speed manual and AMT unit.

MG Astor – 7th

Official prices of the new MG Astor SUV will be revealed on October 7, 2021. It will be MG’s answer to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the newly-launched Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. The SUV will be offered in 8 trims (Style, Super, Smart Std, Smart, Sharp Std, Sharp, Savvy and Savvy Red) and two petrol engines – 110bhp, 1.5 naturally aspirated and 140bhp, 1.3L turbocharged. The MG Astor will be the most powerful car in its segment. It will also be the most feature-packed mid-size SUV in the country. Some of its key features include ADAS, a personal AI with voice command assistance, a panoramic sunroof, TPMS and more.

Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4 – 8th

The Toyota Fortuner Legender that’s currently available with the 2WD drivetrain system, will receive the 4X4 variant on 8th October 2021. No changes will be made to its exterior and interior. Currently, the new Fortuner comes with the 2.7L petrol and 2.8L diesel engines that deliver a claimed power of 166bhp with 245Nm and 204bhp with 420Nm (MT)/500Nm (AT) respectively. The SUV can be had with three gearbox options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.

TVS 125cc Scooter – 7th

TVS Jupiter 125

TVS Motor Company has announced that it will launch a new product on coming 7th. While the company hasn’t yet revealed name and details of the model, it’s likely to be a 125cc scooter based on the Jupiter. The model might come with the 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine sourced from the Ntorq. The motor returns a claimed power of 9.4bbhp with 10.5Nm of torque. The automaker might equip the new TVS Jupiter 125 with a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, USB charger, external fuel filler cap, LED headlamp and taillamp.

BMW G310R, G310 GS – 8th

BMW Motorrad is ready to roll out the updated G310R and G310 GS on 8th October. As a part of the mode year update, the bikes will receive two new colours – Kyanite Blue Metallic with Red rims and Cosmic Black Two. While the 2022 BMW G310 R will get a new Triple Black paint scheme, the existing Polar White shade will be removed from the model lineup. The 2022 BMW G310 GS will loose the ’40 Years of GS’ colour scheme. Both models continue to feature the 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 33bhp and 28Nm.
