New Car Launches
Updated Maruti Ertiga
The 2022 Maruti Ertiga facelift has already reached at dealerships across the nation. Its official price announcement will be made in April and deliveries will begin soon after the price announcement. The MPV will receive minor changes inside and out, while the biggest update will come in the form of a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The new Ertiga will use the same 1.5L K15B petrol engine with mild hybrid technology.

Updated Maruti XL6
The Indo-Japanese automaker is ready to roll out the new Maruti XL6 facelift in coming weeks. A few noticeable changes will be made to its exterior and interior. The MPV might get new seat upholstery, updated infotainment system and a bunch of new fitments. For power, it will use the same 1.5L petrol motor with mild hybrid tech. Similar to the new Ertiga, the 2022 Maruti XL6 facelift will get a 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission replacing the 4-speed unit.

Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition
Painted in sporty Red and Black shades, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition was recently caught on camera. The model gets black treatment replacing the all chrome bits and badging. It will come with the new 17-inch alloy wheels and prominent Monte Carlo badging on the front fenders. The Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition will come with a new fully digital instrument cluster instead of the analog unit. The dual-tone upholstery with Monte Carlo badging and red accent on the dashboard, central console and doors further distinguish from the regular model.

Volkswagen Polo Special Farewell Edition
The German automaker will soon discontinue the Volkswagen Polo hatchback in India. In order to give it a special farewell, the company will introduce the Polo Special Farewell Edition in April 2022. As of now, details aren’t available. Though, the model is likely to come with new body graphics, bespoke alloy wheels and special badges. Interior might also be revised with new seat upholstery and a few new features. The Volkswagen Polo Special Farewell Edition is likely to come with a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine and manual and automatic gearbox options.
Global Car Unveilings
Honda HR-V
The Japanese automaker is all set to unveil the new Honda HR-V SUV for the North American markets on 4th April 2022. The model will come with completely revised front fascia along with minor design changes on the side and rear profile. Some of its features are expected to be borrowed from the new Civic sedan and Europe-spec HR-V. Powering the SUV could be a hybrid powertrain — Honda’s e:HEV system including a 1.5L iMMD petrol engine and two electric motors. It might also be offered with the 2.0L petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol engine options.
MG Electric Hatchback
MG Motors’s all-new electric hatchback will make its global debut at the 2022 Beijing Auto Show that will be held in April 2022. Its production-ready version will be showcased towards the end of this year and its market launch will happen sometime next year. Design of the new MG electric hatchback will be inspired by the Cyberster roadster concept and ZS EV. In global makers, it will replace the second-generation MG 3 hatch.
