Tata Punch Creative Variants To Get Monotone Colours?

According to a fresh media report, the Tata Punch Creative trim will soon receive monotone colour schemes. The leaked brochure scan reveals that the Creative variants will come in Tropical Mist, Atomic Orange, Orcus White, Meteor Bronze and Daytona Grey exterior shades. Until now, the particular trim was available in dual-tone colour options only.

No other changes will be made to the Punch Creative trim. It will continue to come with features such as projector headlamps, LED DRLs, auto headlamps and wipers, power folding wing mirrors, a 7.0-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, auto climate control, puddle lamps, rear wiper and washer, rear seat centre armrest and cooled glovebox.

The Tata Punch is available with a 1.2L, petrol engine and 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The gasoline motor makes a top power of 86bhp and 113Nm of torque. At present, the Punch Creative manual and AMT variants are available at Rs 8.41 lakh and Rs 9.01 lakh respectively. The automaker recently introduced the Punch Kaziranga Edition based on the Creative trim. It’s manual version costs Rs 8.88 lakh and AMT model is priced at Rs 9.48 lakh. The top-end trim can be had with the optional IRA pack (includes IRA connected car tech) that costs Rs 8.71 lakh (for the manual variant) and Rs 9.31 lakh (for the automatic variant) All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

Recently, the home-grown automaker increased prices of the Tata Punch mini SUV by Rs 3,000. After the price hike, the model comes within the price range of Rs 5.67 lakh – Rs 9.48 lakh (all, ex-showroom).

If reports are to be believed, Tata Motors is working on the electric version of the Punch mini SUV. The company will also bring in Punch CNG sometime this year. Its power and torque figures will be slightly lower than the regular petrol version. Though, it will be high on fuel efficiency.
