Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the new Baleno and the Dzire CNG in the country. The company is now ready to launch the updated versions of the XL6 and the Ertiga in the next few days. The 2022 Maruti XL6 and the Ertiga facelift have already been spotted testing multiple times on the Indian roads. In fact, the new 3-row MPVs have already started reaching to dealerships.
2022 Maruti Ertiga Facelift
The popular 7-seater MPV will come with minimal design changes. It comes with revised grille, which will have some resemblance to the Baleno facelift. The cabin is also expected to receive any significant update; however, it could get new colour interior scheme, new upholstery and added features. The new model will be powered by the same 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. This engine churns out 104bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic. MSIL could add 6-speed torque convertor automatic instead of the 4-speed AT.
2022 Maruti XL6 facelift
Unlike Ertiga facelift, the 2022 Maruti XL6 6-seater MPV will come with significant design changes. The updated model will continue to be sold through NEXA premium dealership network. The new model will come with newly designed grille and alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the updated XL6 is likely to get new seat upholstery along with a bunch of new features. It will continue to be offered leather seats, rear parking camera and automatic headlamps with a follow-me-home-function. It could get a new touchscreen infotainment system, which will also be offered on the Baleno facelift. Under the hood, the new 2022 Maruti XL6 facelift will continue to house the same 1.5L petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. A 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox could be offered instead of an 4-speed AT gearbox.
