Diwali is just around the corner and the carmakers have already started rolling out new models to boost sales. We have witnessed several important new car launches in October including new-generation Mahindra Thar, MG Gloster, Audi Q2 and Land Rover Defender along with several special editions and updated models. More new models are ready to hit roads in the month of November 2020 as well. Here’re the top 4 all-new car launches that are slated to happen next month.
1. Audi S5 Sportback 4-Door Coupe
After the Q2 compact SUV, the German luxury carmaker will bring in the S5 Sportback 4-door coupe in the country. Globally, the model will be made available with 3.0L petrol and diesel engine options. In India, the company might introduce the petrol motor that’s good enough for 345bhp and 500Nm. It will come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and AWD (all-wheel-drive) system.
2. New-Gen Hyundai i20
Unofficial bookings of the third-generation Hyundai i20 have already been commenced across the nation. In fact, the new model has started arriving at dealerships. The premium hatchback will receive comprehensive changes inside and out. On the engine front, it will get a 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motor. Similar to the Venue, the 2020 Hyundai i20 might be offered with iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) with turbo-petrol engine.
3. New-Gen Force Gurkha
Previewed at the 2020 Auto Expo, the new-generation Force Gurkha will arrive in the market next month. Though, its official launch date is yet to be announced. The off-road SUV looks more rugged than the previous model and has more features to offer. The 2020 Gurkha underpins the same ladder-frame chassis and come with the heavily updated BS6 2.6L diesel engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motor pushes out a peak power of 90bhp and 260Nm of torque.
4. Nissan Magnite
The all-new Nissan Magnite subcompact SUV will make world debut on 21st October, 2020. Its launch is likely to happen just before the Diwali. The compact SUV sits on CMF-A+ modular platform and is likely to come with naturally-aspirated and turbocharged version of the 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol engine. While the former will make power worth 72bhp with 91Nm, the latter one will be good for 99bhp and 160Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.
