Kia Motors’ second offering in India – the Kia Carnival has received an excellent response from buyers. The MPV is positioned above the Innova Crysta, and is equipped with several high-end comfort and convenience features. The top-spec Carnival Limousine trim is premium and luxurious in terms of features and space it offers. Now, Dilip Chabbria and his new custom car shop, DC2 has released the pictures of the modified Kia Carnival.

DC2 is Dilip Chabbria’s renewed design firm, which recently released some of the finest modified cars. Maruti Dixit also received modified Toyota Innova MPV from DC2. Kia Carnival Interior DC Design

DC2 has released the images of the interior of the modified Kia Carnival. The last row of the MPV has been removed, making the updated model a four-seater. DC2 hasn’t released the front occupant seats, and only the second row of the Carnival has been revealed. The captain chairs come with foldable footrests, and there are foldable footrests in the wall ahead as well.

The second-row of seats can be reclined completely, allowing passengers to turn the seats into single beds. Significant amount of wood and chrome inserts throughout the cabin can be seen, which offers premium feel. The MPV gets ambient mood lighting along with reading lights. There is a personal theatre for the rear passenger occupants. It features a wall-mounted LCD television with a premium sound system. All the features at the rear can be controlled via the touchscreen system present in the centre console. There is a cooled compartment under the centre armrest and floor lighting.

The modified Kia Carnival is powered by the same 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that powers the stock car. This engine is capable of producing 197bhp of power and 440Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
