At the 2020 Auto Expo, Kia launched the long-awaited Carnival premium MPV. Priced between Rs 24.95 lakh and Rs 33.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Kia Carnival has been receiving a positive response from buyers. Kia had also showcased the new Hi-Limousine variant of the Carnival MPV at the 2020 Auto Expo.

It is expected that the Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine variant could be launched in our market as a new top-end variant. The current top-spec Carnival is called the Limousine, which comes with a 7-seat configuration with VIP seats in the middle row. It gets fold-out leg support, Nappa leather upholstery, and two 10.1-inch infotainment screens mounted behind the front-row seats, a smart Pure air purifier with perfume diffuser, wireless phone charger and many more. Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine Interior

The new Carnival Hi-Limousine variant comes fitted with an integrated roof box design. It comes with 7-seat configurations, but loaded with extra features. The roof-box is added to increase the headroom for the middle-row occupants. It also gets a new large rear entertainment screen placed in the added headroom with controls for the media and new roof-mounted lighting with controls placed on the VIP seat armrests. Adding to it, this variant gets heated and cooled cupholders in the fixed front armrest console.

Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine Price

The Kia Carnival is available in a single powertrain – a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 200PS of power and 440Nm of torque. The Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine variant will come as a top-end variant, and is likely to be priced over Rs 35 lakh.
