The first week of November 2020 will be full of new car and bike launches. There will be a total of four new models – the third-generation Hyundai i20, new Mercedes AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Ducati Multistrada 950 S. Here’s a brief on the upcoming four new models that are slated to launch next week.
2020 Mercedes AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe – 3rd Nov
The updated Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe will hit showrooms on 3rd November. It will be the first Made-in-India AMG model and will be produced at Mercedes-Benz’s Chakan based plant. The new model will use the same 3.0L turbo petrol V6 engine. Though, it will b tuned for generating power around 390bhp. Delivering power to the all four wheels will be a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It will also come with an AMG Performance 4MATIC AWD system.
New-Gen Hyundai i20 – 6th Nov
The 2020 Hyundai i20 will be offered in four trims – Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O), 6 colours and three engine options. There will be a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. The 1.2L NA petrol motor will come with both manual and Hyundai’s iVT automatic gearboxes. The turbo petrol unit can be had with either a iMT unit or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. The oil burner will come with manual gearbox only.
New Ducati Multistrada 950 S – 2nd Nov
Scheduled to launch on 2nd November, the new Ducati Multistrada 950 S will be powered by a BS6 937cc, Testastretta L-twin engine with a 6-speed gearbox. The motor has been tuned for generating power worth 113bhp and 96Nm of torque. The bike will come some advanced features such as Ducati Skyhook Evo semi active suspension, Ducati Up/Down quickshifter, traction control, cornering ABS, cornering lights. One can access all these features via the 5.0-inch, colour TFT display.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 – 6th Nov
Royal Enfield’s Meteor 350 is one of the much-awaited launches of this year. Based on an all-new platform, the new RE 350 bike will come with a new 350cc engine making 20.5bhp and 27Nm of torque. The model lineup will be spread across three trims – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. The bike will come with the new Tripper Navigation features and a Bluetooth-enabled GPS system. It will also get a gear position indicator on digi-analogue instrument console.
