The new-gen Hyundai i20 will be offered in 4 trim levels – Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). It will be offered with petrol, diesel and turbo petrol BS6 engines with gearbox options such as manual, iMT, dual-clutch transmission and torque convertor automatic. The new model is inspired by Hyundai Global Design Philosophy – Sensuous Sportiness, which we have already seen on the new-gen Tucson and the Elantra.

In terms of styling, the 2020 Hyundai i20 looks largely identical to the international-spec model. It features a large hexagonal shaped front grille finished in a glossy black colour, Triangular fog lamp enclosure and air vents, projector headlamps with LED DRLs (LED daytime running lamps) and LED turn indicators. The hatchback also gets Z-shaped LED tail-lamps, rear washer and wiper, and 5-spoke 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. There is a chrome strip that runs across the bootlid.

The new-gen i20 will be made available in total of 8 colour options – 6 monotone and 2 dual-tone. The montone colours include Sun Burn Sway, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Starry Night and Titan Grey. On the other hand, the dual-tone paint schemes include 2 Tone Black with White and Fiery Red with Black.
