2020 Tata Nexon facelift with Imposing Front Design Spied

Tata Motors will soon give a major makeover to its popular Nexon compact SUV. In fact, the 2020 Tata Nexon in production body has been spotted testing in India. The Nexon facelift will receive significant design changes and upgraded cabin.

The picture reveals that the 2020 Tata Nexon receives a re-profiled, more imposing front-end. The new model receives newly designed, angular headlamp with projector lens. Nexon facelift spied

The side profile looks similar to the existing model. It rides on the same 16-inch alloys that also offered on the existing model, but the facelift is most likely to receive the newly developed 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear-end is not likely to receive major upgrades, except for the few changes to tail-light and bumper.

Inside the cabin, the 2020 Tata Nexon will receive a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice recognition. Other additions likely to include new steering wheel with mounted controls, rain sensing wipers and cruise control. In fact, the Nexon facelift with new steering wheel along with cruise control has already been spotted in India.

The 2020 Tata Nexon will receive the upgraded BS6 compliant 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engines. While the former is good for 108bhp and 170Nm, the oil burner produces 108bhp and 260Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT.

Tata Motors is also readying the all-electric variant of the Nexon, which is expected to be unveiled at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo. The Nexon electric is likely to be launched in the second half of 2020, while the facelift will be launched in the first quarter of 2020.
