2020 Mahindra Thar Interior Revealed; Gets 4 Power Windows
We have seen the new-generation Mahindra Thar in multiple spy pictures revealing changes it will carry. Though, the latest set of spy images show a completely revised interior of the off-roader. One of the major changes that will be made to the 2020 Mahindra Thar interior is the seating arrangement. The updated version of the SUV will come with two seating configurations – 5 and 6 seats.
The three-door hardtop version of the 2020 Mahindra Thar will also receive four power windows enabling to adjust rear glass area electrically. The SUV will feature a newly-designed dashboard, center console and steering wheel with mounted controls. The fabric seats will get additional bolstering.
The multi information display will also be bigger than the existing model. Features such as dual airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system), front seatbelt reminder, high speed alert system, revere parking sensors and camera could be reserved for the top-spec trim. The 2020 Mahindra Thar will be based on the updated GEN3 ladder frame chassis and witness minor dimensional changes. Some of its design upgrades will include bigger wheel arches, more upright stance and a highly mounted bonnet.
For power, the 2020 Mahindra Thar might get a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This BS6-compliant motor will deliver power close to 140bhp and torque over 350Nm. The SUV will come with an optional 4WD (four-wheel-drive) system.
