2020 Hyundai Verna Revealed In Official Pictures
The first official pictures of 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift have been released by the carmaker. The sedan’s updated model made its debut at the 2019 Chengdu Motor Show in China last month. The new Verna (China-spec) has witnessed comprehensive changes inside and out.
Upfront, the 2020 Hyundai Verna features a large new radiator grille with thicker chrome slats, newly-designed bumper with chrome garnishes and sharper and longer headlamps.
Save for the newly-designed machined alloy wheels, the side profile of the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift looks exactly similar to the existing model. The taillamps with red stripe, as we have seen on the new Santa Fe and Sonata SUVs, appear sleeker than before. Read – Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition Launched
The license plate has been positioned slightly lower and the reflectors are placed vertically on the side edges of the rear bumper. The silver garnish on the rear bumper and faux air vents add more to its new look.
Interior has been revised with a pack of new features including a larger a floating type touchscreen infotainment system and a new fully digital instrument console. The India-spec 2020 Hyundai Verna will look slightly different than the China-spec model. In fact, the features and powertrain options will also be different.
In China, the sedan is reported to get a CVT gearbox instead of a 6-speed automatic transmission. Here, the facelifted model will come with the new BS6-compliant 1.5L petrol and diesel engine options.
