Launched around the 2018 festive season, the new Hyundai Santro has completed its first year in the Indian market. To commemorate the occasion, the South Korean carmaker has rolled out the Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition with minor cosmetic enhancement over the regular model. The special edition has been made available in two variants – Sportz and Sportz AMT – priced at Rs 5.16 lakh and Rs 5.74 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.

On the exterior, the new model features blacked-out door handles and ORVMs, Gunmetal Grey wheel covers, glossy black roof rails, body side moulding, rear chrome garnish and the ‘Anniversary Edition’ moniker on the boot lid.

Based on the premium Sportz variant, the Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition offers all the comfort and safety features available on the hatchback carline. The list includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, MirrorLink, voice recognition, front and rear speakers, keyless entry, power adjustable wing mirrors, rear defogger, front fog lamps, wing mirrors with integrated turn indicator and full wheel caps for 14-inch wheel fitted with 165/70 R14 tyres.

New Hyundai Santro 2018 Mileage

The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition comes equipped with a 1.1L, 4-cylinder petrol engine pushing out a maximum power of 68bhp and 99Nm of peak torque. It can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT transmission.
