Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its vision of Mobility, Innovation & Technology at the ‘Hero World 2020’. The bikemaker has revealed that it will make an investment of Rs 10,000 crore over the next 5-7 years. Besides this, the company has further expanded its premium motorcycle portfolio with the Hero Xtreme 160R that’s due for March, 2020. The BS6-compliant Hero Passion Pro, Glamour and XPluse 200 Rally Kit have also been unveiled at the event.

The 2020 Hero Glamour BS6 has been offered in variants featuring minor design changes and tweaked hardware. While the entry-level Drum brake variant is available at Rs 68,900, the premium Disc brake model costs Rs 72,400. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Powering the 2020 Hero Glamour is the new 125cc engine that pushes out a top power of 10.73bhp at 7500rpm and 10.6Nm of maximum torque at 6000rpm. This makes it 19% more powerful than the old BS4 motor that was good for 11.5bhp. The updated model has also ditched the 4-speed gearbox or a 5-speed transmission unit.

Similar to the new Hero bikes, the updated Glamour comes with the brand’s i3S (idle start-stop system) and with Auto Sail Technology. The bike has been built on an all new rigid diamond frame and stands on 20% higher ground clearance. The bike comes with 240mm front disc brakes. Other key updates include a revised instrument cluster with rear time fuel economy indicator and pilot lamps with smoked finish.
