2019 Land Rover Discovery Launched at Rs 75.18 Lakh
The new 2.0L diesel is Jaguar Land Rover’s first engine to feature series sequential turbo technology.
2019 Land Rover Discovery has been launched with a new 2.0L diesel engine at a starting price of Rs 75.18 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new oil burner, with a 8-speed automatic gearbox, makes power worth 237bhp with 500Nm of torque. It’s Jaguar Land Rover’s first powertrain to feature series sequential turbo technology ensuring additional boost at lower and higher RPMs.
Now, the Discovery 7-seater SUV lineup is available in four trims (S, SE, HSE and HSE Luxury) with two diesel and a petrol engine options. Prices of the petrol variants start from Rs 76.94 lakh and go up to Rs 89.38 lakh, the diesel models cost between Rs 88.78 lakh – Rs 1,08 crore (all, ex-showroom).

In terms of features, the 2019 Land Rover Discovery comes packed with advanced comfort goodies including a four-zone climate control, a 360 degree surround camera, a panoramic sunroof, electrically reclining seats, powered third row seats, cabin air ionisation, intelligent seat fold and adaptive cruise control. The 7-seater SUV is capable of water wading depth of 900mm and has a towing capacity of 3,500kgs.
