2019 Hyundai Elantra bookings open – Launch Date, Images Revealed
Korean automaker, Hyundai has released the official images of the 2019 Elantra facelift. The sedan is scheduled to be launched in India on October 3, 2019. Adding to it, Hyundai has also announced that the bookings for the Elantra facelift have also been started across Hyundai dealerships in India.
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra facelift receives significant changes to exterior as well as interior. In term of styling changes, the updated model has the company’s new signature ‘cascading grille’, revised headlamps with LED daytime running lights, newly styled triangular fog lamps and muscular bonnet. The sedan rides on newly-designed alloy wheels. At the back, the refreshed Elantra gets new bumper and newly designed wraparound tail-lights. Inside the cabin, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra is benefitted with new features. It gets the brand’s new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The 2019 Hyundai Elantra facelift will only be offered in petrol version. It will be powered by a BSVI compliant 152bhp, 2.0-litre petrol engine. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The Elantra facelift will directly rival the likes of the Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Civic and the Skoda Octavia.
