2019 Honda CBR650 Official Bookings Open; To Be Priced Below Rs 8 Lakh

The 2019 Honda CBR650 will be retailed via Honda’s Wing World dealerships.

Honda 2Wheeler India has confirmed that the 2019 Honda CBR650R middleweight, fully-faired motorcycle will be priced below Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). Though, the official price of the bike will be revealed at its launch in coming days. Prior to its launch, the pre-bookings of the 2019 Honda CBR650R have been commenced at a token amount of Rs 15,000. First previewed at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, the new Honda CBR650R will come as a replacement to CBR 650F in India and global markets as well. For power, the middleweight motorcycle makes use of a 649cc, inline, four-cylinder engine making 94bhp at 12,000rpm and 64Nm at 8,500rpm.

2019 Honda CBR650R Details

For transmission purpose, the CBR650R gets a 6-speed gearbox. The bike also comes with an assist/slipper clutch and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Damping duties are done by a 41mm showa USD fork and a monoshock suspension unit. Compared to its predecessor, the 2019 Honda CBR650 is 6kg lighter (weighing around 209kg). The bike also receives updated pivot plates, seat rails and engine hangers. Styling of the new model seems inspired by Honda Fireblade including LED headlamps and new full LCD instrument cluster. The riding position has also been improved by shifting clip-ons and rear set foot pegs. The 2019 Honda CBR650R will come in two colour options – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
