General Motors has unveiled the new 2015 Chevrolet Cruze sedan at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. The vehicle gets changes both inside and exteriors; however, the mechanics remains unchanged.
At the front, the new Cruze sports prominent dual-port front fascia which is inspired from Impala and Malibu. The grille is complemented by LED daytime running lamps and swept back headlamps. The vehicle also features an updated tail lamps and new exterior colours.
Inside the cabin, the new Cruze sedan gets restyled cup holders, trunk release is positioned to the centre console while the door lock switches is positioned to the front doors instead of centre console. When it comes to safety and security, the sedan gets 10 standard air bags – including side-impact and knee air bags for front passengers – and offers side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist and a rearview camera.
The new Chevrolet Cruze is available in two engine options- a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The former churns out a maximum power output of 110PS and 146Nm of torque, while the 1.4L turbocharged engine that produces 148bhp of top power and 235Nm of torque.
