This engine will be coupled to a DSG automatic gearbox. The new 1.5L engine will help the company to enjoy the excise benefits applicable on sub-4 metre cars with 1.5L diesel engines. If media reports to believe, the company might ditch the 1.2L diesel motor; however, we expect that the company will replace the 1.6L diesel engine.
