2 New SUVs, 3 Cars & 2 Bikes Coming In Next 2 Weeks – Dates & Details

We have already witnessed some important product launches and unveilings this month. More new models are ready to hit roads and make global debut in the next couple of weeks. Here’s a brief on the upcoming new cars, SUVs and bikes, which are scheduled to arrive in the next 14 days.

New Tata Tigor EV

Tata Tigor Electric Ziptron Teased

Tata Motors will introduce the updated TIgor EV with more powerful Ziptron electric powertrain on 17th August, 2021. The new model will come with a high voltage 300+ permanent magnet synchronous electric motor and 21.5kWh battery pack. It’s likely to offer a range of around 250kms on a full charge. The 2021 Tata Tigor EV will be more powerful and efficient than the outgoing model. Minor cosmetic changes are likely to be made inside and out. More details of the product will be revealed in coming days.

New Honda Amaze

Prices of the 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will be announced on 18th August 2021. The updated model lineup will come in three trims (E, S and VX) and the same engine setup that includes a 1.2L iVTEC petrol and a 1.5L diesel unit. Both manual and CVT automatic gearboxes will be on offer. The compact sedan will receive a bunch of new features including automatic LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, chrome door handles, revised LED taillamps, satin silver finish on dashboard and steering, dust and pollen filter, leather wrapped gearshift and rear parking camera with multi view and guidelines.

Hyundai i20 N Line

The South Korean carmaker has confirmed that it will unveil the Hyundai i20 N Line on 24th August 2021. Its launch will happen next month. The i20 N Line will be the first model to roll out under the brand’s performance division of cars. The hot hatch will be offered on three variants – N6 iMT (based on Sportz trim), N8 iMT (based on Asta trim) and N8 DCT. Under the hood, the upcoming i20 N Line will feature a 120bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engine along with the iMT and DCT gearbox options. Its suspension and braking systems will be tweaked to improve performance. It will look sportier than the regular model.

New Hyundai Creta

The second-generation Hyundai Creta, which is already on sale in India, will make its Brazilian debut on August 25, 2021. Its launch will take place towards the end of 2021 or early 2022. The Brazil version will be different from the India-spec model. It’s more like the Russia-spec Creta featuring differently designed hexagonal grille, new LED headlamps, revised taillamps, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument console, ventilated seats, a new multi functional steering, ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and more. The SUV will feature 120bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and 166bhp, 2.0L naturally aspirated engines.

Jeep Meridian

The American SUV manufacturer is ready to unveil its new 7-seater SUV on August 26, 2021 in Brazil. Called the Jeep Meridian, the model will be based on Compass and share some of its design elements and features with its younger sibling. In Brazil, the SUV will be offered with 1.3L turboflex (185bhp/270Nm) and 2.0L turbo diesel (200bhp) engine options. Both motors will come with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and AWD (all-wheel-drive) system. Jeep Meridian will also make its way to India sometime next year. Honda NX200, the new adventure bike from the Japanese two-wheeler maker, is set to hit showrooms on 19th August, 2021. The new Honda motorcycle will share its platform, design bits and engine mechanism with the Honda Hornet 2.0. That means, it will use the 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with PGM-FI and Honda Eco Technology. Some of its key features will include LED headlamp, knuckle guard integrated front turn indicators, a tall windscreen, split style seats, a two-piece pillion grab rail, 19/20-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, single-channel ABS and front and rear disc brakes.

New Royal Enfield Classic 350

The next-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 is scheduled to launch on August 27, 2021. The new model will be built on the new ‘J’ platform that will also be used in RE’s future 350cc motorcycles. The new architecture is said to enhance overall ride quality and performance of the bike. For power, the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will use the 349cc, fuel injected motor delivering power worth 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. This time around, the bike will get Tripper navigation system and digital readout along with new seat with better cushioning, revised taillamp and indicators.
