The spy images and teasers suggest that the new Hyundai Creta for the Brazilian market will have a slightly different design elements compared to the India-spec model. It is closely related to the one recently launched in Russia. It gets a differently styled hexagonal shaped front grille and modified taillights. There is no light bar at the rear, as the India-spec model has a light bar that runs across the trunk lid. The front air intakes has a separate part at the bottom, which is similar to the Chinese ix25; however, positioning has been altered.

The SUV’s interior and features will be shared with the Russian-spec model. It will get a 7-inch digital instrument console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new multi-functional steering wheel. The SUV will also get ADAS, with features like automatic emergency braking, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor with camera, electronic parking brake, etc. The SUV will also get LED headlamps and tail-lamps, and ventilated seats.

It is expected that the new Hyundai Creta for Brazil will get the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine instead of the 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The new 3-cylinder engine produces 120bhp and 172Nm of torque. Few reports suggest that the 1.6L engine will be offered with the entry-level variant. The SUV’s top-spec model is rumoured to get the 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated engine that produces 166bhp and 201Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
