Maruti Vitara Brezza Now Comes with Free 5 Years Warranty

Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has started facing the heat from growing competition. With the arrival of new Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300, the Brezza sales have come down heavily. Adding to it, the lack of petrol option has also impacted its sales. In order to counter the rising competition, Maruti Suzuki is now offering a comprehensive warranty of five years on the Vitara Brezza.

The new five-year warranty on Maruti Vitara Brezza is available at no additional costs. Earlier, the compact SUV was available with a standard warranty of 2 years and 40,000 km. The company also offers an optional extended warranty of up to 5 years and one lakh kilometers. The new free five-year warranty is introduced to counter the rising competition and to maintain the pole position.

Besides giving free warranty, dealers are also offering benefits worth Rs 30,000. The company has recently launched the Vitara Brezza ‘Sports Limited Edition’ variant, which comes with sporty decals and a body kit. The Hyundai Venue has also recorded 45,000 pre-bookings in 1 month. This shows the popularity of the new SUV and going by the numbers, it is expected that the Venue could even become the top-selling model in its category.

While the Vitara Brezza is available in a single diesel engine option, the Hyundai Venue offers 3 different engine options – a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.4-litre diesel and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol. The turbo-unit is specifically introduced to target young audience. Adding to it, the Venue base model is around Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the Brezza.

Maruti Suzuki is also preparing the mid-life facelift version of the Vitara Brezza compact SUV, which is likely to arrive in our market by festive season. Media reports claim that the facelift model will offer sunroof and side airbags. Adding to it, the Brezza will also receive a petrol engine option.
