TVS Motor Company recently introduced an all-new 110cc commuter motorcycle in the country. Called the TVS Radeon, the bike has been made available in a single variant priced at Rs 48,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Chennai-based two-wheeler maker also confirmed that it will further expand the 110cc commuter lineup with new variants. While the company didn’t reveal the variants details, it could be the disc brake version or a limited edition of the bike.
For power, the TVS Radeon uses a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, Dura-Life engine pushing out a peak power of 8.2bhp at 7,000rpm and a peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,000rpm. TVS claims that the Radeon has a best-in-segment ground clearance and long wheelbase measuring 180mm and 1265mm respectively. The company is also offering a 5 years comprehensive warranty along with a maintenance-free battery. The TVS Radeon rides on 18-inch alloy wheels shod with Dura-Grip tubeless tyres. The new TVS 110cc bike has been designed on the new single-cradle tubular chassis, and targets the millennials. Some of its key features include USB charging port, side stand indicator, electric starter, twin-pod speedometer, LED DRLs (daytime running lights), a ribbed fuel tank with thigh pads. The commuter gets the largest cushion seat in its segment ensuring comfortable ride. The TVS Radeon gets telescopic forks and twin coil-spring shock absorbers suspension units at the front and rear axles respectively. The bike is available in four paint jobs – Black, White, Purple, and Beige.
