      Hi Bramhananda,

The Aspire gets traction control and hill assist, but not the cruise control. The Ameo will be the first vehicle in its category to get one. And it will most probably be offered with the top-end trim.

Does that mean Ameo Auto Petrol will not be launched/is getting launched at a later date.

Considering the stiff competition, not having an Auto version in Petrol can be a wrong decision. I always considered Ameo as a choice but this news is not so good for me.

            Please clarify !!

            June 29, 2016 at 8:10 PMJun

That’s correct, the company doesn’t have plans to bring in the petrol auto at least this year. Instead, it will bring in the diesel automatic.

Push button start and keyless entry is a must if Ameo is to be projected as premium and till now there is no confirmation about these two features.

  19. Bond

    May 6, 2016 at 8:10 PMMay

There is no push button start, keyless entry and no rear seat centre arm rest, instead front centre arm rest,

But a rear arm rest with cup holders are must to call it a premium.

    (even in top trim).

VW has installed rain sensing wipers and cruise control and wiped off the above features.

    Why VW why??

Definitely will enjoy ride with Ameo but if you really want to capture the indian market, company should concentrate on fuel average. Mentality of Indian population is more interested in fuel average and low maintenance cost. Moreover, people look for resale value of vehicle.
Vehicle is very good – rough and tough, more safe, good features but lacking in fuel average compare to below 4 metre other company’s Sedan vehicles such as Desire, Etios etc.,

The front side(bonut) heats too much even after a short drive. I have never seen any car this much heating. This is unsafe, I think this may be manufacturing defect but not sure
