Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
Prices of the all-new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be announced on 16th August 2022. The SUV model lineup will come in four trims – E, S, G and V – and two hybrid powertrains – NeoDrive and Hybrid. While the former is Suzuki’s 1.5L K15C Dualjet petrol motor with Smart HybridTech, the latter is Toyota’s 1.5L TNGA Atkinson Cycle with a 79bhp, electric motor. New-Gen Maruti Alto
The new-generation Maruti Alto is reported to go on sale in coming weeks. Its official launch date, however, is yet to be announced. The hatchback will grow in size and witness comprehensive design changes and feature upgrades. The new 2022 Maruti Alto will be available 11 variants, powered by a 998cc naturally aspirated K10C petrol engine. Both manual and AMT gearboxes will be on offer. MG ZS EV Excite
MG ZS EV electric SUV model lineup will soon receive a new variant with bigger capacity battery pack. According to leaked document, the entry-level Excite variant will be offered with the 50.3kWh battery promising a claimed range of 461km on a full charge. The setup includes an electric motor and generates power worth 174bhp and 280Nm. The battery pack can be charged via standard power socket in 18-19 hours and 8.5-9 hours via fast charger. Mahindra Scorpio Classic
Mahindra Scorpio Classic has started arriving at dealerships ahead of its market launch. The updated SUV model lineup will be made available in two variants – S3+ and S11. All variants will derive power from the 132bhp, 2.2L turbo diesel engine coupled with the RWD system. In order to improve its handling and reduce body roll, the carmaker will re-tune its suspension setup. Tata Tiago NRG
Tata Motors has confirmed that it will roll out a new affordable variant of the Tiago NRG in coming weeks. Called the Tata Tiago NRG XT, the new model is likely to offer features such as height adjustable driver’s seat, vanity mirror on the passenger side, rear parcel shelf and blacked-out B-pillar. For power, the new variant will use the same 1.2L Revotron petrol motor that’s good for 86PS and 113Nm. Transmission options will be a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. More details here…
