July month will surely be super exciting for the auto enthusiasts (especially SUV lovers) as there will be five new models to hit showrooms. Here’re key details of the upcoming new cars –
Toyota Hyryder
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has confirmed that it will unveil the all-new Urban Cruiser Hyryder mid-size SUV on 1st July 2022. Though, it’s market launch will take place in August or September. According to a fresh media report, the new Toyota SUV will underpin Suzuki’s Global-C platform and come with hybrid powertrain. It’s likely to feature a 1.5L petrol engine boosted with Toyota’s strong technology. The gasoline motor will be good for 103bhp and 136.8Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. New Audi A8 L
Prices of the new Audi A8 L facelift are slated to announce on 12th July 2022. Here, the model will be offered with the same 3.0L TFSI petrol engine pushing out 340bhp. With the mild hybrid tech, the motor will deliver 461bhp. An 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox will perform transmission duties. It will come with Audi’s Quattro AWD system. New Hyundai Tucson
The new-generation Hyundai Tucson will go on sale in India on 13th July 2022. Interestingly, the carmaker will introduce the long-wheelbase (LWB) version of the Tucson offering more space for the middle row passengers and bigger boot space. It’s reported to come with three-row seating arrangement. The SUV will feature Hyundai’s new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language along with some significant cosmetic updates. Citroen C3
Citroen C3 premium hatchback will hit our roads on 20th July 2022. The model will come with 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol engines making power worth 82PS and 110PS respectively. Buyers will have choices of two trims – Live and Feel. While the former will be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the latter will get a 6-speed manual transmission. Maruti Vitara
Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming mid-size SUV is reported to be named – Maruti Vitara. Similar to the global Vitara SUV, the new model will be designed on the Global-C architecture. It will be unveiled in the month of July and its launch is likely to happen near around 2022 Diwali season. The new Maruti SUV and Toyota mid-size SUV will share platform, design elements, features and engine mechanism. That means, the Vitara will come with the 1.5L petrol engine benefited with mild and strong hybrid system. It’s likely to be the first SUV in its segment to offer AWD (all-wheel drive) system.
