Tata Nexon Electric Launch In 2020; 300Km Range

Homegrown automaker, Tata Motors has announced to enter in the personal electric vehicle segment in Q4, 2019-20. The Nexon EV will be powered by the recently introduced Ziptron technology. Tata Motors has also signed-up Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar to promote the new Nexon EV. The power couple will experience the all-new Ziptron Technology as they drive around different terrains of India and share their experience with near-production ready, Nexon EV.

The Tata Nexon EV will offer around 300km of range in a single charge. It will be powered by the state-of-the-art Ziptron technology. The Tata Nexon Electric Vehicle will sport an efficient high voltage system, fast charging capability, battery and motor with warranty of 8 years, and adherence to IP67 (dust and water proof) standard. Tata Ziptron Electric Engine

Tata Motors’s new electric engine comes with smart regenerative braking system. The Ziptron battery will be offered with warranty of 8 years. The Tata Ziptron engine has high voltage system featuring a permanent magnet AC motor, which offers superior performance on demand.

Tata Motors has also released a new campaign titled #TheUltimateElectricDrive, featuring Milin Soman and Ankita Konwar, where they will be driving from Manali to Leh, in a Nexon EV. The company claims that the Nexon electric vehicle smoothly tackled the toughest terrains in India, covering the high altitude Himalayan passes, with limited charging infrastructure and under extreme weather conditions. Tata believes that the Nexon EV will break existing barriers like range anxiety, lack of charging infrastructure and performance capabilities.
