Tata Harrier will mark debut of Tata’s new BSVI-ready 2.0L, four-cylinder Kryotec engine
Tata Harrier, the much-awaited premium 5-seater SUV from the home-grown carmaker, is all set to hit Indian roads in January, 2019. Official bookings for the vehicle have already been commenced and its media drive will begin from 3rd December, 2018. Prior to its official launch, the carmaker has released pictures and video of the production-ready Tata Harrier SUV.
Interestingly, the Tata Harrier is the company’s first product to feature the new-generation IMPACT 2.0 Design philosophy and OMEGA platform. It will also mark debut of Tata’s new BSVI-ready 2.0L, four-cylinder Kryotec engine that said to be inspired from Cryogenic rocket engine. While the five-seater version will receive 140bhp version, the seven-seater model (codename – H7X) will get 170bhp version. The Harrier will come with both manual and automatic gearbox.
