Suzuki’s all-new Intruder 150 cruiser is available in a single variant priced at Rs 98,340 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The long wait for the Suzuki Intruder is finally over, as the Japanese bikemaker has launched its 150cc bike in the Indian market. Available in a single variant, the new Suzuki cruiser is priced at Rs 98,340 (ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price point, the Intruder 150 will take on the likes of the Bajaj Avenger 150.

The all-new Intruder 150 shares its platform, components and engine with the Suzuki Gixxer. The bike derives its power from the Gixxer’s 154.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 14.59bhp at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. While the power and torque outputs remain unchanged, the company has tuned the motor for achieving better performance. Suspension setup of the bike consists of telescopic forks upfront and a -shock rear unit. Braking power for the cruiser comes from front and rear disc brakes. The bike also gets single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard. Sitting on a 1,405mm wheelbase, the Intruder measures 2,130mm in length, 805mm in width and 1,095mm in height. Its seat height stands at 740mm. Built on Gixxer’s platform, the Intruder 150 carries masculine stance and typical cruiser-like proportions. The bike also features projector headlamp, fuel tank with extended shrouds, two-piece seat unit and LED tail lamps. The rear design of the bike shares resemblance with larger Suzuki bikes. Features such alloy wheels and digital instrumentation are borrowed from the Gixxer 150. Other key highlights include a small visor, signature badging on the fuel tank, flowing design and twin exhaust system. The new Suzuki cruiser is available in two dual-tone paint schemes – Glass Sparkle Black/ Metallic Matte Titanium Silver and Metallic OORT Gray/ Metallic Matte Black.
