Super Exciting July – 5 New Cars/Bikes Coming In

We are almost halfway in 2023, and have already witnessed some major car and bike launches. Well, that’s not enough. More new cars and two-wheelers launches and global debuts are in the pipeline such as updated Kia Seltos, Maruti Invicto, Hyundai Exter, Triumph-Bajaj Scrambler and Harley-Davidson X440. Here’s launch dates and some key details of the upcoming models – July 2023.

Kia Seltos Facelift – Unveil On 4th July

It will be the first major update for the Kia Seltos since its launch in August 2019. The SUV will come with a host of cosmetic changes, new features and a new turbocharged petrol motor. The Seltos facelift is likely to receive a new 1.5L turbo gasoline unit making power worth 160bhp and 253Nm of torque. The existing 1.5L petrol (115bhp/144Nm) and 1.5L diesel (116bhp/250Nm) engines will also e on offer. In terms of feature upgrades, the SUV will get a new dual-screen layout (one for the instrument cluster and infotainment system), a panoramic sunroof and ADAS tech. Maruti Suzuki Invicto – Launch On 5th July

Maruti Suzuki Invicto is the first re-badged Toyota from the Indo-Japanese automaker that’s slated to go on sale on 5th July 2023. The MPV is reported to be offered in a single Alpha+ trim, powered by a 2.0L strong hybrid tech. The setup, with an eCVT gearbox, delivers a peak power of 183bhp. The Maruti Invicto will be the first car from the brand to come with the ADAS tech, 10-inch infotainment, electronic parking brake, 9-speaker audio system, powered driver seat with memory, dual zone climate control, ottoman seats, powered tailgate and 18-inch alloys. Its design will be slightly different from the Toyota Innova Hycross, especially the front end. More details here…

Hyundai Exter will be an answer to the Tata Punch from the South Korean automaker in India. Under the hood, the micro SUV features a 1.2L petrol engine generating power around 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Buyers will also get CNG fuel option. The Exter will be the first vehicle in its segment to feature the dashcam with front and rear cameras along with the 6 airbags as standard fitment. It has also been packed with automatic climate control, electric sunroof, interior door handles with brushed aluminum finish, 3-spoke multi function setting, a digital instrument cluster, etc. More details here…

Harley-Davidson X440 – Launch On 3rd July

Harley-Davidson’s most affordable bike is ready to hit Indian roads on 3rd July 2023. It’s the first model to come under Harley’s and Hero MotoCorp’s partnership. For power, the bike uses a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that’s likely to be more powerful and torquey than the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The latter one returns a claimed power of 20bhp and 27Nm of torque. The Harley-Davidson X440 is built on the single downtube turbular frame and has a USD fork and twin shock absorbers. It rides on the 18 front/17-inch rear wheels shod with MRF tyres. The new Harley-Davidson bike is estimated to cost around Rs 2 lakh. More details here…

Triumph-Bajaj Bike – Debut On 5th July

Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles had entered into a non-equity partnership to co-develop mid-capacity bikes in 2017. The first model under this partnership is ready to roll out on 5th July 2023. While the bike will have its world premiere in the next couple of weeks, the spy images confirm that it will come in two forms – Roadster and Scrambler. The Scrambler version will borrow some of its design bits from the Triumph Bonneville motorcycles. It will carry a neo-retro design language with fancy equipment. At the heart of the bike will be a 400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine offering power close to 35bhp-40bhp and torque more than 40Nm. The new Triumph-Bajaj bike will come with USD front forks, rear monoshock suspension, disc brakes, alloy wheels, circular headlamps, etc. More details here…
