Maruti Invicto Bookings Open – 10 First-Time Features Listed

The booking window for the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, a three-row premium MPV, has officially opened. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle for an initial sum of Rs 25,000 at any Nexa dealership or on Maruti Suzuki’s website. The price announcement will take place on 5th July at its launch event in Delhi. The Maruti Invicto is essentially the first re-badged Toyota from the Indo-Japanese automaker in India. It is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, which currently dominates the strong hybrid segment. Read – Maruti Suzuki To Launch 3 Hybrid Cars, 1 Electric SUV In 2023-24

A few cosmetic changes will be made to the Invicto, taking inspiration from the Grand Vitara. The three-row MPV will feature a differently designed front grille with two chrome slats, a revised front bumper, new headlamp and taillamp inserts, and newly designed alloy wheels. However, its dimensions will be similar to the Innova Hycross.

The interior of the Maruti Invicto might have new seat upholstery and trim. Its cabin layout and features will be carried over from the Toyota Innova Hycross. There will be at least 10 features that will be a first for any Maruti Suzuki car in the country. These include:

 – ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) (lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control).
– Ottoman seats
– 9-speaker premium audio system
– Dual-zone climate control
– Powered driver seat with memory
– 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system
– Front parking sensors
– Electronic parking brake
– 18-inch alloys
– Powered tailgate

What’s more? The Invicto will be the first Maruti Suzuki car to cost above Rs 20 lakh. It will be the second model to come with Toyota’s 2.0L strong hybrid powertrain, which generates 184bhp. The lower variants of the MPV will be powered by the 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol motor, producing 172bhp and 205Nm.

Similar to the Grand Vitara, the new Maruti Invicto will be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant. The Japanese automaker will provide 9,000 – 10,000 Innova Hycross vehicles per annum to Maruti Suzuki.
