Soon-to-be-Launched Royal Enfield Bikes – 3 Models

Royal Enfield is on a roll. The Chennai two-wheeler maker recently introduced its most affordable bike – RE Hunter 350 – at a starting price of Rs 1.49 lakh. The company has been testing multiple new 350cc and 650cc bikes for a while, which are likely to hit roads in the next couple of years. 3 of them seem close to their production version including RE Himalayan 450, new-generation RE Bullet and RE Super Meteor 650. Royal Enfeild Himalayan 450 Launch

The bikemaker has already dropped the first teaser of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 that’s reported to see a release in early 2023. The model carries differently designed fuel tank, side panels, front beak and exhaust than its 400cc sibling. Powering the bike will be a 450cc motor delivering power worth 40bhp and 45Nm of torque. It will have a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension and braking system will be carried forward from its younger sibling. Some of its key features will include a digital analog instrument cluster, ride-by-wire throttle and Tripper navigation system. More details here…

New-Gen Royal Enfield Bullet

New Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Launch

Official launch details of the new-generation RE Bullet 350 are yet to be revealed. Though, it’s reported to arrive by the end of 2022 or in early 2023. The bike will share its platform, engine and features with the Meteor 350. That means, the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will underpin the brand’s new ‘J’ platform and derive power from a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 20.2bhp and 27Nm. The bike will receive new chrome treatment around its headlamp, rear view mirror and taillamp. In terms of pricing, it will be slightly more expensive than the RE Hunter 350. More details here…

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

Royal Enfield Super Meteor Launch

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is likely to launch by the end of 2022 or in early 2023. At the heart of the bike will be a 648cc, parallel twin-cylinder FI engine sourced from the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The motor, with a 6-speed gearbox, pushes out a maximum power of 47PS and 52Nm of torque. It will also get slipper and assist clutch. In terms of features, the new RE 650cc bike will offer a semi digital instrument cluster, Tripper navigation with smaller pad, retro-styled round headlamp with a large windshield, road-biased tyres, a fatter rear fender and a twin pipe exhaust system.
